Penultimate Round Of The 2019 Super Series Returns To The Banks Of The Murray River

The seventh round of the 2019 Super Serieswill see a return to Sturt Reserve, Murray Bridge for the penultimate day ofracing for this year’s Series on Sunday, November 17.

For the third year running, the longcircuit criterium hosted by The Rural City of Murray Bridge will see riders racealong the picturesque Murray River, with a scenic backdrop of house boats andpaddle-steamers.

Cycling SA CEO Lachlan Ambrose commented:“Cycling SA are really enthusiastic to be bringing the Super Series back to Murray Bridge for a third year straight. Therace has been embraced by the riders and the community, and we hope to see evenmore spectators this year. We extend our sincere gratitude to The Rural City ofMurray Bridge, who make the event possible.”

Both Elite Men’sand Elite Women’s categories of the race were taken out by SASI riders lastyear, although with a very close finish in the elite men’s race. It will beinteresting to see whether SASI athletes can repeat that feat again this year!

The dates for the 2019 Super Series are now confirmed, running from 21 September until 24November. Team entries for the series are officially still open for anyone outthere who hasn’t yet submitted a team, with individual entries for the Seriesand the first 3 eligible rounds becoming available this week through Entryboss.Contact sa.event@cycling.org.au orhead to the Super Series website for more information!
