New Extended Criterium for Victoria Park, Round 4

With much excitement, Cycling SA are pleased to announce that Round 4 of the 2018 Super Series, to be held at Victoria Park, will be an extended criterium.Saturday 20 October will see our Super Series competitors race beyond the standard Victoria Park criterium, as they race along Wakefield Street from the Dequetteville Terrace end, right along to East Terrace.Lachie Ambrose, Cycling SA CEO, says “With the 2018 Super Series we have looked to add some great new races to the series, without having to significantly increase the entry fees. This is a very exciting option for us, in the heart of Adelaide, which will definitely add an extra element to the racing.”The 2018 Super Series will hold two rounds at Victoria Park: Rounds 1 on 22 September and Round 4 on 20 October. Round 1 will be the standard criterium at Victoria Park, with Super Series competitors then travelling to Wallaroo and Moonta for the Copper Coast Cup. Upon returning to Victoria Park for Round 4, riders will have the fantastic opportunity to race this extended criterium.Cycling SA would like to extend our sincere gratitude to The City of Adelaide for their support with event.Dates for the 2018 Super Series are now confirmed, running from 22 September until 9 December 2018.
