ss22 - Blackchrome On Board For 2022 Super Series GC and Women’s Grades

This year’s Super Series will see a bit of a shake up in the jersey department! After several years of support from SCODY, we are now proud to announce that Blackchrome will be providing this year’s GC Leader’s Jersey throughout the 2022 Super Series as General Classification Sponsors. It’s exciting to work with a local, Adelaide-based brand who are committed to providing excellent quality custom kit.

In addition to sponsoring the GC in all categories, Blackchrome want to support women’s racing SA and we are ecstatic to announce a new partnership for the Super Series: Blackchrome will be sponsoring Women’s Category 2 and Women’s Category 3 this year by fronting up 50% of their entry fee! That means that if you’re a team of women racing in Category 2 or Category 3 at this year’s Super Series, your Team Entry Fee just got halved. We hope this will reduce some of the barriers to entry at the grassroots levels of the sport, and encourage some new groups of women to come out and get racing on their road bikes. If you can think of a riding group that might like to enter this year’s Super Series – make sure you share this info with them!

“Blackchrome are delighted to partner with AusCycling SA for the 2022 Super Series. As a proud South Australian business, we love nothing more than being able to support local events, especially when it’s within the sport of cycling; something we are so passionate about. We are extremely excited to see the series leaders in our Elite race jerseys and to contribute the growth of women’s cycling within our fabulous state!” Darren Buckby – Director Cycling/Triathlon

It always feels good to bring in a new partner for the Super Series, as each new brand that wants to be involved adds a little flavour to the mix and Blackchrome will be no different. To find out more about Blackchrome head on through to their website here, or Facebook and Instagram pages and make sure you follow along on their channels to keep up with them!

Team EOIs are still open until July 31 to those who have not yet expressed their interest, and Team Entry Information has been sent on to those who have already submitted an EOI. If you have any questions about the entry process, please get in touch with Series Organisers directly at sa.event@auscycling.org.au.
