2022 Super Series Dates Announced, Team EOIs Open!
After the success of 2021’s Super Series amid an uncertain year, we’re excited at the prospect of a slightly more normal Super Series in 2022. Given the Road World Championships taking place in Wollongong in September, this year's Series will comprise 7 rounds from October 2 through November, with the same Elite, Cat 1 and Cat 2, and Cat 3 grades you know and love. We’ll once again have Classifications for Sprint, Young Rider, Masters Age Categories and a now an accumulative award for Most Aggressive in each grade, as well as the General Classification and those fancy Teams Classification rings up for grabs in each grade.
2022 Super Series Dates:
- Rounds 1 & 2: October 2
- Rounds 3 & 4: October 8 & 9
- Round 5: October 22
- Round 6: October 30
- Round 7: November 13
More information on each of the weekends of racing that will make up the 2022 Super Series will be available in the coming weeks.
In Elite, Cat 1 and Cat 2, Teams will register a roster of up to 8 riders for the Series and choose 6 of those riders to race at most of the rounds like last year’s racing, and building on last years Cat 3 success, we will now be offering a Cat 3 Masters grade alongside the Cat 3 Women's and Cat 3 Men's grade. All Cat 3 racing will also include all of the Classifications racing mentioned above, and will race at all 7 rounds of the 2022 Super Series. After the EOI process is complete, a decision will be made on the final number of riders in each Cat 3 team.
Final Team Entry pricing will be dependent upon Expressions of Interest numbers, and only Teams who register their EOI before July 1st (a month from now!) will be eligible for discounted Earlybird prices.
