RD I: Pangkarra Criterium at Pakapakanthi Just Around the Corner

One of the great things that has come out of Cycling SA’s 2020 baby, the Adelaide Track League, is our ongoing relationships with several local food producers! One of those, Pangkarra Foods, has come on board to sponsor Rd I of this year’s 99 Bikes Super Series, putting up some snacky prizes for winners in each grade at this Saturday’s Criterium at Pakapakanthi!

Pangkarra are based in the Clare Valley, where they grow legumes and cereals and produce all their fine foods: a range of products from lavosh breads, traditionally made pasta, and more recently their Protein On Demand range, (PODS) – which offer not only a healthy protein filled snack, but some delicious flavours, with both savoury and sweet options available. These include roasted faba & broad beans with lemon, thyme & black pepper, and roasted faba beans and chickpeas with rosemary and sea salt, or for those with a sweet tooth they have dark chocolate coated chickpeas and yoghurt coated options.   With a stash on hand to cater for those hankering for bar snacks at track league, these tasty treats are quickly putting the SuperDrome vending machines out of business by providing the go-to snacks of both CSA and CA staff.

The family owned business will be providing snack packs to all podium winners for this Saturdays 2020 season opener for all 12 grades. If you haven’t found yourself on a team in 2020 and still want to throw a leg over the bike, you have until midday today to enter so don’t delay. Entry’s can be through Entry Boss can be found here:
