Cycling South Australia to field Women's Development Team in 2019 Super Series

In order to continue women’s racing on the upwards trajectory it has been on for the last few years, Cycling South Australia is proud to announce the creation of a Women’s Development Team for the 2019 Super Series. Successful applicants for the program will get a place on the CSA Women’s Development Team in the Women’s Cat 2 grade for the duration of the 2019 Series, including 6 criteriums, a team time trial, and a road race.

All riders from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply, butsuccessful applicants will express a keenness to develop their racing skillsand an openness to learning race craft from one of the best in the business,Jenny Macpherson.

In addition to those awarded places on the Super Seriesteam, these training sessions will be open to any applicant (successful or unsuccessful)who would like to remove some of the mental barriers to entering crit racingand to hone their bike handling skills before diving into a bike race headfirst.

Riders on the Women’s Development Team will be required tocomplete training sessions before the beginning of the Series, and will havethe opportunity to train together throughout the Series to enhance their ridingand racing skills.
