2019 Super Series Opener To Be Held At Pakapakanthi/Victoria Park
Cycling South Australia is happy to announce that the first round of the 2019 Super Series will be held at Pakapakanthi/Victoria Park. The familiar short course will be run on Saturday, September 21, with racing kicking off in the morning and continuing well into the afternoon. Some of the nation’s fastest riders will compete across 6 grades for the first of the 2019 Leader’s Jerseys, with a record number of participants expected to take to Adelaide’s most-raced venue.
The Victoria Park course presents a perfect opportunity for supportersto join in the series, as they can sit down, enjoy the hospitality on offer andwatch some exciting bike racing, all just a stone’s throw from the AdelaideCBD.

The 2019 Super Series will once again hold two rounds at Victoria Park: Rounds 1 on 21 September and Round 5 on 27 October. Round 1 will be the standard short course circuit, while Round 5 will enable riders to further challenge themselves with the fantastic opportunity to race an extended criterium through Adelaide’s city streets. This year’s Super Series will run from 21 September until 24 November. Entries for the series are officially open for teams who have submitted an Expression of Interest, and EOIs are still open for any prospective team that has not yet submitted one.
