Penultimate Round set to take on Murray Bridge

Almost unbelievably, the penultimate 2018 Super Series round has already arrived, with the Murray Bridge criterium to be held this Sunday, 18 November. With the racing tight across all categories, this race along the outside of Sturt Reserve and up Murray Cod Drive, is going to be an important one to win!Cycling SA CEO Lachie Ambrose states “this is the second time the Super Series has been to Murray Bridge, and we're excited to be returning after a hugely successful round last year. With the special location on the banks of the Murray, and a course that is a good mixture of technical corners and flowing straights, this round will not disappoint. We are really looking forward to seeing how some of the close battles that we have going on across categories turn out!”Those battles couldn’t get any closer than in Men’s Category 2, with things all tied up at the top of the leaderboard. Matt Hutchinson of Tempo/Titan leads on countback over Josiah Whittaker of Adelaide University Cycling Club, with Norwood Cycling Club’s Andrew Clarkson only trailing 2 points behind them. And it’s a similar story on the Elite Women leaderboard, with Jenny MacPherson of Butterfields p/b Van D’am Racing now just two points clear of both Chloe Moran of SASI and Natalie Redmond of Gravier Cycle Collective. Results of the race that will ride past the beautiful scenic backdrop of the iconic Murray River houseboats and paddle-steamers, could well decide some of the categories, or set-up an exhilarating final round on 9 December at AV Jennings St Clair.Cycling SA would like to thank The Rural City of Murray Bridge for hosting the event and for their generous support.Team Submissions are due by Wednesday 12midnight: http://www.cyclingsuperseries.com.au/team-managers-information-page/Individual Entries are now open, and will remain open until Wednesday midnight:https://entryboss.cc/races/1465
