SASI Men ready to fight for Stages
The South Australian Institute of Sport has been a stepping stone for many of the current crop of Australian World Tour riders including Rohan Dennis and current National Champion Alex Edmondson. This year they hope to shape the future of an extremely young, but talented group fighting it out in the category 1 elite mens division
With the experienced head of Josh Harrison guiding the youth, look to SASI to be present in every round and targeting the stage victories. A strong track background for many of their riders, SASI will look to feature in the sprint finishes as well as animate the race.
Jarrad Driziners has been on impressive form this season racking up a number of victories including the prestigious Mount Gambier 100 mile classic in what was a brutal edition in May. He'll come into the series on red hot form after a winter racing block in Europe along with fellow SASI team member Braden O'Shea.
Long term sponsors Cervelo will continue to provide bikes for the team and the team will also still be protected by KASK helmets who sponsor some of the best teams in the world. Callidus and Prochem also return as sponsors and the team will be riding for the Little Heroes Foundation which raises funds to improve oncology treatment for South Australian children. The Foundation was established by former Adelaide football club players Tony McGuinness and Chris McDermott.

With a heavy criterium focused series and a team time trial, SASI could be considered one of the favourites for the overall classification with such an eager group of very capable riders.
The series kicks off on September 22 with what is sure to be a hotly contested criterium around Victoria Park.
