Christopher Jongewaard returns to the Cycling South Australia Super Series

Current National Cyclo-Cross Champion Christopher Jongewaard will line up for the Super Series in 2017. The multiple national title holder will head the JBlood Adventures team, which in 2017 blends a mix of youth and experience.

The team’s major sponsor is Jongewaard himself. JBlood Adventure’s offer customised coaching and programs with a focus on skills, techniques and tactics for MTB, Road and Cyclocross. With his formidable bike handling skill set, Jongewaard will be leading from the front in the criterium dominated series.

Joining Jongewaard on the team is Aaron Huysmans, also a seasoned racer. The Belgian born rider has a long involvement in the sport including racing at the highest level in Australia and Europe, and his tactical nouse will keep him in the mix. Huysmans and Jongewaard will be aiming to use their experience to help guide some of the younger riders in their team.

Another rider to watch from this team is Michael Demiank. Although a little inexperienced on the road, Demiank has spent considerable time racing on the track and will be looking to unleash his furious sprint on the Victoria Park finales.

Joining them on the road will be a few riders who come across from JBlood Adventures sister team, USG Cycling. They will have benefited from the experience they had racing the 2017 series and will be valuable assets for Jongewaard out on the road.
