2021 MetroMap Super Series Teams Announcement

The Super Series has been growing year-on-year for some time now, and we’re excited to announce our biggest Team Series ever – with no less than 46 Teams currently entered in the 2021 MetroMap Super Series. Now featuring 8 Senior grades, we are heartened to see the uptake especially in the Cat 3 Men’s grade which has 8 teams in its first year!

For 2021, we are delighted to see some new teams taking to the start line! In the Elite Men’s category Team Sunset are bringing together some familiar faces from previous years and should be well placed to mix it with the other teams. Plenty of fresh faces are coming out to race in the Elite Women’s field, where we are seeing two new teams for 2021 with KOM – TACTIC by Cervelo, and a Women’s NRS Team - ACA Pro Racing Sunshine Coast. Team Bicycle Express are a new addition to Cat 1 Masters category for 2021 – having spent the last few years dominating local masters racing, we are keen to see them matched up against the other Masters Cat 1 teams which have raced the Super Series in the years prior! An all-new Blackchrome Racing team in Cat 2 Men will mix things up while the Cat 2 Women's grade will be duked out by Norwood, Butterfields and Team Scyon. MOOD Racing will debut in Cat 3 Men and Women after a successful season of Cyclocross, and after several year sponsoring the USG teams across the board, SA Fabricators will debut two teams in Cat 2 Masters this year.
