Super Series Finale at AV Jennings St Clair Confirmed

Cycling SA are thrilled to announce that St Clair’s AV Jennings Corsa Dello Stivale (Italian for the Race of the Boot) will again be host to the finale of CSA’s Super Series (Round 8).Taking place on Sunday 9 December, the race, which has been given its name due to the track resembling a boot, will see hard and fast racing from the earliest categories, with significantly expanded fields across the whole competition.The culmination of 8 rounds of elite racing will have an expected turnout of over 300 cyclists, whilst hundreds of spectators cheer them on.Cycling SA CEO Lachie Ambrose says: “This was a rider favourite last year, so we’re ecstatic that it is back on the schedule. We’re really appreciative of the support from AV Jennings and looking forward to again showcasing the St Clair development.”The course will run through the St Clair area, as per the map, with the finish line set up on St Clair Avenue. The cyclists will make their way around the central lake, which will provide a cooled environment on what will no doubt be a hot summer’s day.The Corsa Dello Stivale criterium is a very spectator friendly location, where you will be able to catch the action no matter where you are. Play on the St Clair playground and enjoy a coffee whilst you cheer on the riders.Cycling SA would like to extend thanks to AV Jennings and the City of Charles Sturt for their support in bringing the event to the community.The 2018 Super Series running from 22 September until 9 December 2018, has now commenced.  Individual entries for the series are still open and will remain open throughout the series.
